INTERNATIONAL MICROORGANISM DAY 2021
17 September is International Microorganism Day, an opportunity to promote the diversity and variety of microorganisms and a way to encourage everyone to recognize and celebrate the many ways microscopic organisms are important in human health, culture and, throughout our daily lives.
As the pandemic is still ongoing we decided to keep IMD 2021 to an online setting. We are therefore planning a 24-hour live stream with even more fun sessions from last year, including art demonstrations, museum visits, and of course many sessions on the microbes found all around and inside us! We are also hoping to expand our reach to even more countries than last year, and make content more accessible to the young people among us. The live stream will run from 12pm CEST 16th September to 12pm CEST 17th September and it will be available to watch on the IMD Twitter, Facebook and YouTube channel so all you have to do is join!
You can find the provisional session programme here.
You can also sign up to keep informed about attending the live stream.
